Readers will see that I have now completed this course. I have managed to complete it a lot quicker than normal as I have been recovering from a couple of operations.
Like the last course I completed I have had a great time completing the course work and the projects. My camera and other equipment has stood up well to everything that i have thrown at them. I have done a lot more work on the computer this time, so I have to be more organised in my work-flow.
I have mounted my last set of images for my personal project and will send them to Mr Taylor when he gets back.
I am looking forward to sending my work into the OCA for formal assessment.
I am still reading books and will start looking at the OCA course books to see which course i will take next.
I hope that you have enjoyed looking at my images.

I will add feedback for the last few assignments when I get them. After reading the feedback I may add some more images and do a little more work if it is required.
My DSLR is still away, so I decided that a new compact camera would be required to take some images for one of my assignments.
After doing some research and looking at a couple of magazines I chose a Nikon AW100. (Aw = All weather).
Nikon AW 100
The camera is small but it gets good reviews. You can also use it underwater if you want! One interesting feature is that you can set it to shoot in black and white, not new I hear you say, but when you change it the display on the rear shows the image in black and white before you take a shot. (My own Nikon takes and displays the image in colour once you have taken it you then you change it to black and white.
The benefit will be that I can see the shapes that I am looking to capture on the back of the camera before I tasks the shot.
The camera arrived a couple of days ago so I’ll be out over the next few days capturing images of graveyards, which is going to be my subject matter.
updates will follow.
I will also be able to show where the images were taken as the camera has built in GPS and world mapping.
