Exercise – Busy Traffic.
I have been to quite a few train stations over the last few weeks for various projects. They really are interesting places to take photographs. This time I wanted to do a little research on the new Kings Cross Station.
So after spending the day at the station including the Eurostar terminal I captured these images of the exit barriers. The crowds flowed off the trains every few minutes.
Here are the images that I have chosen.
The train has just arrived and people head for the gates.
The crowds are thinner but as they get thinner the speed at which the passengers pass through increases, as can be seen by the guy in the front of the image. The motion blur add to the image
The last few passengers reach the gates. The whole area has changed within a couple of minutes. Ready for the next train to arrive.
A different view of the same gates from above. I like the way that the passenger’s clothes stand out against the grey tiled floor.
Later in the day I took this image at the British Library. I just liked the look of the student all in a line.
