For the first part of this exercise I went to Dunster for the annual “Dunster by Candle-light ” evening.
However I did not take my camera I just took my phone. My camera, a Nikon D3s can take very good pictures in poor condition so I wanted to see what a camera on a phone could do.
For this section of the exercise I will just show the images that I took. In the second part of the exercise I will show you what noise is, how light effects the images and how noise is not always a bad thing.
First here are some images from the High Street in Dunster.
The noise or grain can be seen in each of the images, especially in the night sky of image three.
To show that the camera is not too bad at taking images I went to the woods this morning and captured these images to give the viewer a contrasting set of images.
Same settings just the light is better.
What do you think?
