This is my first assignment of my second course. It has been the most difficult assignment so far. I had to arrange for a subject to have a number of images taken over 5-7 sittings and from the sittings produce 5-7 different portraits.
Each sitting would have to produce a single image that I felt summed up the days shoot.
The following things would also have to be taken into consideration:-
- Identifying a model, her clothing and payment
- Locations for each shoot
- Logistics for each shoot.
- The aims of the assignment and what I wanted to achive.
I was lucky enough to be able to use a young lady called Liz, I have to say she was excellent and helped me a great deal. After each shoot we looked at the images and together we decided how they could be improved. I am indebted to her for her help and kindness.
I decided to use approximately four of the best images from each setting and from them choose the one that I liked. This would mean that at the end of the process I would hopefully have approximately 6 images to submit to my tutor for assessment.
Here are my images.
Well these are the images that I have chosen after reviewing a number of pictures taken over seven different shoots.
In part two of this exercise, I will describe how the images were taken, describe the things that went well, talk about the problems I had and then finally chose the final set of images that I will submit.
