After a further busy period at work I had a day off. I went to the National Gallery in London.
It was interesting looking at some of the most stunning pictures that we have in the UK.
After look a some of the images I saw the following post card in the gift shop
This image of the National Gallery , which is subject to copyright, is made up of 5 images placed next to each other. I have seen examples of this over the last few months as it appears that a lot of photographers are using this “new method” to make prints.
However Look at this:-
The above image was painted in 1867- nearly 150 years ago by Edward Manet. It is one image made up of 4 images!. It just goes to show that most of the new things may not be new after all.
I had a great day there and what is also remarkable is that it is free.
