Exercise – A single small figure.
This was always going to be an interesting exercise. Take an image that contains a person/s who are not the subject of the images and are placed in such a way that they are not immediately seen. However you must be able to see them in the end.
I have gone out taking pictures over the last few weeks, each time I had this exercise in mind. Here are the images that I have chosen to illustrate this exercise.
You can see the person behind the glass window. The other colours in the image hide her especially the Currency Exchange sign.
Here I think that your eye is drawn along the three plant pots to the statue of the lady and the man. It is only when you look dow that you see the guy looking to his left.
I waited a long time for this shot. Even though it is a busy London station hardly anybody went through the tunnel. Then a couple walked towards me and I captured them as they entered.
With all the other interesting things in the image it takes a while to see them, even though if you follow the walkway you will see them in the end.
